Assessment
Our assessments evaluate a child's physical, cognitive, emotional and sensory abilities. We use a wide variety of developmental assessments to evaluate neuromuscular development, fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration and regulation, visual perceptual skills, cognitive and learning skills, and attention and organisation skills.
Treatment
We pride ourselves on keeping up to date with the latest post graduate training to ensure we offer innovative holistic therapy. We use a child centred, family focused approach in our sessions. The team has a diverse range of special postgraduate training ranging from DIR floor time, therapeutic listening, sensory integration, neurodevelopmental training, infant massage and child psychology.
Groups
We offer a wide range of exciting and fun groups! Different to traditional individual therapy, groups offer the benefit of reaching OT or developmental goals within a social setting. Our groups include yoga, social and play skills, fine motor skills, writing and perceptual skills, sensory exploration, and baby - toddler stimulation.
Workshops
Innova OT hosts professional CPD workshops for registered health care professionals.
We also love hosting interactive teacher workshops where we can collaborate with educators on how to implement OT strategies within a school setting.
We frequently host informative and fun parent talks focused on early development and implementing OT strategies within a home environment.
Mentorship
We value keeping up to date with the latest research and literature in our field. As part of our ethos and commitment to mentorship, we prioritise sharing knowledge between junior therapists and experienced therapists via our weekly meetings and journal club to review journal articles and the trending literature.
